NAHB Green Home Building Program Verification
At MEJJ, we believe that you cannot just say you are green, you have to prove it, that is why all our houses are 3rd party rated according to the National Association of Home Builders Green Building Program. Learning about the program was just not enough, MEJJ became one of the first verifiers in Rhode Island. MEJJ can verify your new single family home,your new multi-family house, remodel or your entire development. While we cannor rate our own projects ourselves (we engage a 3rd-party) because of the conflict of interest, we are proud to offer these services for any builder, remodeler, developer or home owner.

How much does it cost?
- The certification through the NAHB Research Center costs $200 for NAHB members, $500 for non-members and multi-unit buildings are fee + $20 per unit.
- The service for a MEJJ to rate the project is a separate fee and is negoiated case by case, usually for a single family home it is on average $600.
- Unfortunately, no. Once the project is past its Rough Inspection stage it cannot be rated.
